Pyjama Party On Spotify

If we’re going to get ourselves in the mood for a Pyjama Party, we really need some background music as we climb into our jim jams, plait each other’s hair, heat up the milk for the hot chocolate, break out the marshmallows, spill the beans on our latest crush…

So go to Spotify for our very own playlist:

  • Pyjamarama, Roxy Music
  • I Go To Sleep, The Pretenders
  • Mr Sandman, The Puppini Sisters
  • Dream A Little Dream Of Me, Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong
  • I Have A Dream, ABBA
  • Where Did You Sleep Last Night, Nirvana
  • Pyjama Party, Sailor*
  • Moon On Your Pyjamas, Paul Weller
  • Silk Pyjamas, Thomas Dolby

* This one’s particularly fun. Lyric quote: ‘We can all make friends at my pyjama party!’

Let me know if there are any songs you’d add to this!

Brilliant! Gotta love it when you can make a soundtrack for your wardrobe!

How about Enter Sandman by Metallica? I’ve been too lazy to join in with you, but am loving virtually following along :)

  3. Loving the music choices, what a great idea!

Well, you got “Pyjama Part-ay” stuck in my head today!

On the pyjama theme I am reminded of this scene from Bride and Prejudice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3T97X4jWTM I want to look as cute in pyjamas as these girls do. Watching it this time, I also noticed the work of the costume designer in giving all the girls slightly different PJs.
