Get ‘Em While They’re Young

Young Knitting Recruits

A knitting addict can never relax – not when there are new recruits just waiting to be brainwashed into the pleasures of knit one, purl one. With their mother still asleep in bed, I had to find some way of keeping them entertained, right?

A lifetime of woolly joy lies ahead of these little angels. But their mother still had a tendency to laugh whenever she saw me knitting. Little did she know that by the end of the weekend, this would be happening:

Look, Mum! You’re knitting!

My work here was done.

I love the bed-head shot! Good work getting the whole family at it – hope they keep it up.

That’s so sweet, great job done!
I had to learn from horrid craft teachers. Made me hate knitting for many years. Finally discovered about 3 years ago how great knitting can be. Decades wasted!
Honestly, I wish I had someone like you to teach me as a kid.

Mwa-ha-ha!!!! Another strike for the ‘No Idle Hands’ Force!!! Yay! To seal the deal, take the little tykes down to the yarn shop and let them fondle the skeins until they find something they fall in love with and then buy it for them! They take them home, put them in a drawer and the next thing you know, the yarn multiplies into the never-ending stash!

    Haha, brilliant work!
