I’m probably stretching the boundaries of what constitutes an outfit photo. You can just glimpse my black and white Gertie Gingham Skirt and that’s definitely my right boob. But shouldn’t outfit photos include, you know, more of the outfit? In case you need more evidence that this really is me, here’s another shot:
I was working with limited resources today and had to take the photo myself. This was on Grays Inn Road as I was on my way back from a working lunch. Karyn had already posted a comment on the morning’s giveaway blog post:
I think that you should have your photo taken with a policeman! Purely because if I won my 8 year old son would love the fabric and thinks policemen are fab! Good luck!
And Katie had added her four penn’worth:
I second the vote for the policeman. I want to see a real English “bobby”! Do they really look like that?
You want to see what a real English bobby looks like and now you know. Karyn – I’ll be in touch for postage details. You’re a winner!
I think this brush with the law planted a seed of rebellion in me. I feel very guilty. I should have been at my sewing class tonight. Instead, I did this:
Yeah, well. We all need a night off every now and then!
WINE TIME!
This photo just made me laugh out loud. Which seemed a bit inappropriate given I’m meant to be watching a very serious episode of Inspector Morse. Hmmm. But you look lovely as ever dear Karen x
So naughty!! x
I’m loving these MMJ posts and am living vicariously through your adventures – keep them coming!
You rebel! Lovely outfit and a lovely evening!
Love the first pic the best! You made me laugh out loud!
Seriously, he’s 12 isn’t he? I got the days wrong for the giveaway; never mind, my 8 month old is too young to appreciate fighter planes just yet. I have a suggestion for one of the MMJ days; a cook in an eel, pie and mash shop. I never had the nerve to try eels during my years in London, and now I don’t live there, the chances of finding them on a cafe menu are very slim. I dare you to try an eel in one of your creations!
Sarah, there are many things I am prepared to do for the sake of this blog, BUT EAT EELS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
Aw you look lovely, what a gorgeous outfit! Talk about making me feel old, since when did policemen get so young?! x
I love your MMJ posts!! I think you should get a photo with one of the Buckingham Palace Guards! 🙂 Cheesy, I know, but really fun!! How about a pic with a bobby and his/her jam sandwich? Love it!
Fabulous outfit, BTW! And yes, everyone does need a night off! 🙂
LOVE THIS!!! And yay to wine 😉
If the rebellion is for a good cause, as is evidenced by the picture, then way to go. oh wine, I love white wine.
Wine!…. Sewing class!…. mmmmmm….. I know what I’d choose. Give me the wine any time. Rebellion is a good thing.
Loving your daily photos Karen, and your outfits, but did you have to pick such a nerdy policeman? Remember, the whole world is watching!
Ha, ha, ha! Now you’re making me laugh. You may say that, I couldn’t possibly comment!
Wine please! lol
I hate it when people say this, but HE LOOKS ABOUT TWELVE! As for you, you look great, as always.
He’s too cute!! Thanks for posting him! I’m loving your spin on MMJ. So much more fun than an outfit every day.
