Knit Relief On The Telly!

Okay, people. Whatever you’re doing Sunday morning, cancel it*. The latest news is that Knit Relief is going to be covered on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, 10am-12pm. This will be a great and timely plug for Knit Relief, as bidding doesn’t end until 7pm on Sunday.

During my lunch hour today, I rushed my scarflett over to Teen Granny in case they want to, you know, wave it around on national television!!!! (Or have it as a background prop.)

Who wouldn’t want to see this on the telly?

So far Knit Relief has done more than we could ever have anticipated. People have gone mad for it! The largest current bid for a single item is a staggering £150. There’s been a ground swell of enthusiasm over on Twitter, with Kirstie Allsop amongst others championing one amazing teenage girl’s woolly initiative.

I left Teen Granny’s house with some of her Sports Relief Millionaire Shortbread, which I am now going to eat with a nice cup of jasmine tea. Yum, yum, yum.

Don’t forget to tune in on Sunday!

I can’t cancel my plans, for reasons that will become obvious. And at 11am Sunday morning, I’ll be making more demands of you…
