This week I discovered a new-to-me shop in Islington and fell deeply in love. So much so, that I just HAD to buy a couple of items to use as a giveaway here. (And scroll down to the end of this post for links to not one but two Pattern Pyramid giveaways.)
In With The Old profiles independent makers and also holds crafty workshops – quite how and where, I don’t know, as every spare surface is crammed with those things you just want to snuffle up immediately. Vintage plates, lace baskets, old medicine bottles, silk handbags – too, too gorgeous.
So what am I offering as giveaways?
A greeting card with a neon pink origami dress and a length of vintage lace! All you have to do is leave a comment by GMT Friday 14 September. I’m happy to post anywhere in the world. Good luck, my friends!
Oh. And I just had to buy something for myself too. Because I’m worth it.
STOP PRESS! GMarieSews has a Pattern Pyramid giveaway, including a Burda magazine, here and Roobeedoo has launched her Scottish Pattern Pyramid giveaway here, that includes a bonus mystery pattern.
Always love Liberty!
How very lovely of you to think of us!
The notecard is awesome. I just love pink!!
I need to invest in some liberty prints. That one is lovely (as is the card!).

Oh I LOVE making these kind of discoveries – often i read your posts and wish I was back in London! Would love to enter.
Oh, yes, please enter me in your giveaway. Those two items are so super – I just have to ask, “How can you bear to part with them?”
Nice choices.
I’m not entering the giveaway, but I just wanted to say, they have clock-making classes?! That is so amazing. I would totally go! 🙂 It looks like a really amazing shop.
Cute finds! I’d love to throw my name in the hat for the giveaway!
Such pretty liberty fabric, and yes! you ARE worth it! 🙂

Such loveliness! Liberty swoon…
Wow, everything is lovely!
Just looked up how far away from me that shop is on Google maps!
My mind is churning at high speed what lucky thing do I have here this house to hold while I type. I must ave that card. I love, love, love it, I wouldn’t be greeting anyone with it though, it’ll be going in a picture frame to help decorate my pink guest room. Thanks Karen, you are so kind & generous. 🙂
Just in case I don’t win- well at least I’ll know holding the iPad was not lucky, I went to check out http://inwiththeolddotme.wordpress.com/ and am now sad to find they don’t sell on line. Karen what are you doing teasing me like so?
That card is fabulous. The dress looks like it could be one of Gerties! Love the Liberty print too.
I have just moved to London and have a long list of places to visit, mainly from your recommendations! This shop looks lovely!
