Not one, but two Pattern Pyramids have recently gone live. One is with Kat of Modern Vintage Cupcakes. Aw, I’m so glad to see Kat taking part. Our lady in Wellington was one of the stars of the Pyjama Party. She made a set of PJs to go with her ickle bump of a tummy – and that bump is now a baby boy! Her giveaway includes a Sewaholic pattern, kindly donated by Tiffany of Twilltape, so get yourself over there.

When you’ve finished throwing your name in Kat’s hat, go visit Tina in Philadelphia. She has an awesome giveaway here. She’s chosen to keep a Belgian Military Chef’s Jacket for herself, but there are some yummy blouses still to be snapped up.
So, you’ve done Wellington and Philadelphia. Where next? Essex, of course! Have you seen Miss P’s blog post, Are TV Executives Missing A Trick? Portia is calling for opinions about sewing on the telly and already has a collection of thought-provoking contributions. You need to get over there and let her know what you think. Your voice could reach some very important ears…
And last but not least, make your way back to London. The Village Haberdashery is going to be exhibiting at The Knitting and Stitching Show, 10-13 October, Alexandra Palace. Annie has stand J22, and I’ve recently been given a ticket to the show. Hmmmm… I may have to stop by and say hello! (If you want an advance ticket for £10 – £5 off the door price – let me know. Significant Seams has some available.)
Phew! I think that’s the end of my Sunday Service. But what have you been up to, Karen? I’ve been making this…

I’m going to the show on the 12th as well, my WI federation runs a coach trip. I was planning to stop by the Village Haberdashery stall as I still haven’t got my apron fabric. I shall be looking out for a tall dark Brazilian lady as well!
Oooh, whatever it is you’re making looks wonderful. I love the colour, the collar and the bow. I think I’m going to want one (whatever it is!).
I normally go to the Knitting and Stitching show, but will have to miss it this year, as we’re away all weekend.
Hi Karen,
l’d like to go to the knitting and stitching exhibiton on Sat 13 Oct with my mum. Could you please email me more infomation on how to get a 2 tickets at a discounted price for that day please?
Many thanks
Tanya

I don’t think it runs until Sunday, Joanne.
