Hey all! There are two new Pattern Pyramids! One here in Yorkshire with lovely Amy, who I met at the Birmingham Sewists Meet up in November. She’s added some beginner-friendly Prima patterns to the mix.
Then, there’s Sew Busy Lizzy, who is throwing her own hat into the Pattern Pyramid mix, with a pretty awesome giveaway of 12 patterns here.
Have I missed any others? I am in definite wind-down mode right now. Very difficult to do anything other than nap, knit, eat and drink Baileys. Same for you?
But I fully intend to start next year with a review of the Pattern Pyramid to date. It’s six months old now and still going strong. Aren’t we amazing?
This was a great idea of yours. I never entered because the patterns wouldn’t fit me. To extend your thoughtfulness I was thinking of starting a plus sized pyramid in the new year. What do you think?
BeaJay: This is a great idea! I will make a donation if you are starting this up.
Go for it, my friends!
Excellent – Let’s do it in the new year. I have about a dozen patterns I can use. Any contributions would be great.
That is a great idea I will donate too, if you decide to start this.
Plus sized pyramid about to be launched.
Hmmmm Bailey’s…keep eyeing up our unopened bottle and thinking a wee dram might help….
if I could limit my intake to a dram I’d be happy! As it is, there are times I feel a straw would be useful: fewer dishes to wash, less evidence and a good, solid intake!
I have a pattern pyramid I am carrying on just after Christmas – am taking a break from the blog just over the Christmas weekend, then will be back in full sewing swing! I’m always interested in hearing where the pyramids are travelling to. xxx
The Wellington sewing bloggers who met up last month have started their own pyramids with the leftover patterns from their swap!
I won one of the two pyramids Kat from Modern Vintage Cupcakes started and have just launched my own giveaway here http://52weeksof.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/wellington-pattern-pyramid-giveaway.html
Thankyou for the lovely idea, I really think it’s linking people together all over the world 🙂
