Today is the third anniversary of my blog and I’m here to offer a celebratory giveaway with a difference!
You know that I’m a big fan of Tilly and the Button’s Mathilde blouse. And you appreciate that I like to shake the bag up? Which means a giveaway to the power of three.
After I sat on Tilly, she very kindly agreed to offer not one! not two! but three! free copies of her Mathilde blouse for lucky winners. But there’s a catch. I want you to spread the love and inspire each other. I know you can rise to that challenge. So here are the rules…
Leave a comment below and if you are the lucky winner drawn at random you will receive:
- A free downloadable pattern for the Mathilde blouse, worth £7.
- Two sets (yes, 12 in total) of red heart buttons from Cath Kidston to use on the button back – or not! – as whim sways you. (Wouldn’t these look fabulous against a solid teal?)
There’s one more condition. If you win, I’d like you to make the Mathilde blouse and blog about it. If you don’t have a blog, send me a photo of the finished project. You then automatically win the right to host your own giveaway – either on your own blog or here if you don’t have a blog. You’ll supply the buttons, Tilly will supply the pattern. You then pick your own winner and a second copy of the pattern will go out, along with the buttons you’ve chosen to inspire another Sewist. In turn, they’ll have their own chance to host a third giveaway.
So simple. So inspiring. So much fun! Three free patterns to celebrate my third blogiversary.
Leave a comment below if you want to enter. It goes without saying, this is open internationally. The closing date is Wednesday 27 February at midnight GMT. Hey, maybe Ella can help us pick the winner! (Have you seen how Gjeometry picked her latest Pattern Pyramid winner? Awesome!)
With thanks to Tilly and the Buttons for so generously contributing three gratis copies of the hottest pattern around.
I have been worshipping the mathilde blouse from afar, and would love the opportunity to make it, show it off, and pay it forward……and let all you guys see my very rudimentary skills x

Oh snaps! I made a no-pattern-purchasing commitment this year, but winning isn’t purchasing, right?! Anyway, I’d love to win one. I’ve been admiring the many, many versions I’ve already seen sewists complete. So much variety!
This pattern is amazing and has such pretty details. I would love to make this.
Sounds like a great idea and would force me to sew and to blog about it. Because for some reason the combination of those two things hasn’t been happening much lately.
Happy blog-birthday! This is such a cool idea! I’d love to give the Mathilde blouse a try.

Thought I’d pluck up the courage to leave a comment as I’d love to try making the Mathilde blouse. I haven’t yet made any clothes, but I love that Tilly has put a sew along on her blog so perhaps this would be a good item to start with. If I were to win a copy of the pattern it may take me a while to start sewing as I am currently a week overdue with my third child! The anticipated sleepless nights may dampen my crafty nature a little for the next few weeks! Would be good to have an exciting project ready to lure me back to my machine though!
Congratulations your your 3 years! I hope you have many more blog years ahead.
What a wonderful idea for a giveaway – please count me in!
