Back in October I blogged about the Craftivist Collective launch night for their I Am A Piece project on behalf of Save The Children’s Race Against Hunger. Now, they’re nearing their finish line! The deadline is almost over for sending your jigsaw pieces to Sarah and your local MP – pieces should be with your MP by the start of March.
If you haven’t already started embroidering a jigsaw piece, you still have a few days! This could be the perfect low-level craft activity for cold winter days.
You can sign Save The Children’s petition here or, if you’re in the Manchester area, stop by their party to see the installation go live on Friday 1 March 6-8pm at the People’s History Museum. I wish I was in the Manchester area – it’s such a great city!
Petition signed! Great cause.
Great action – petition signed!
Terrific! I have nominated you for a few awards, or an award – as you see fit, over at my post Move over Meryl Streep! Congrats
What a wonderful and crafty cause!
I’ll be heading along to the unveiling as it’s in my neck of the words – looks fantastic so far!
