Are you ready? Three weeks from now we’re all (fingers crossed) going to have some pyjama bottoms to share. Excited? I am!
To remind you, I’m hosting a sewalong around Sewaholic’s Tofino pants. I’ll be making version A, with the long legs. You don’t have to. You could make version B or work from any other pyjama pattern you like. (If you’re looking for inspiration, I’ve set up a Pinterest mood board here.)
I’ve created a blog button if you’re sewing along and want to share the love in your sidebar. Just copy the code from the bottom of this blog post.
A word on supplies. You can work with either woven fabric or lightweight jersey. I’ve decided, unusually for me, to work with a lightweight but stable jersey, bought from Stone Fabrics.
As you can see, I’m also working with some pre-made piping – light pink satin and very narrow. Yeah, very narrow can be challenging – that’s all I’m saying. You can choose to make your own piping and Sewaholic provides a very useful pattern piece with the Tofino pattern. Be aware, you’ll be making five metres of the stuff. There are loads of fantastic tutorials on line for making your own piping, such as these here and here.
Any tips for beginners? If you’re an absolute beginner, I recommend working with cotton. Didn’t catch that? Work with cotton? Sorry, still didn’t hear? Cotton. Have I got the message across?! It’s a very beginner-friendly fabric.
You might also want to forgo the piping if you’re feeling a bit timid and tremulous, but I will be supplying a pretty detailed tutorial for that stage so maybe you can feel the fear and do it anyway! After all, this is something that only your bed and your sofa will be seeing – it’s not like you’re making an outfit for your attendance at the diplomat’s ball.
I’m using a total contrast fabric for my belt – it’s some sort of fleece backed satin from my stash. You can have lots of fun with your belt and contrast colours and prints.
So, what fabric have you bought? You haven’t? Okay, tell me you’ve ordered the pattern. No? Oh, that’s a shame, guess you can’t take part. JUST KIDDING! How better to start a party than a giveaway with two wonderful partners who are supplying:
- One free copy of the Tofino pattern from Sewaholic.
- Three metres of fabric from The Village Haberdashery’s gorgeous Glimma range.
Aren’t these people generous? This giveaway is running for three days only, because I want Sewists to have time to receive their gifts and get in on the party action on 23 June. So, leave a comment below saying which fabric you would choose from the fabric range by midnight GMT on Wednesday 5 June to have a chance of winning. As ever, this is open worldwide.
Friends, I think we’re ready to party!

<div align="center"><a href="http://didyoumakethat.com/" title="didyoumakethat"><img src="http://didyoumakethat.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/pyjama-party-button.jpg" alt="didyoumakethat" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
I’ll be joining in when I get back from my hols. Have the pattern but avoid the piping as I am a tremulous newbie. Fabric should have arrived when I get home – its cotton!! with pink flowers 🙂
Ooh, i,m off to the fabric shop end of week, hope to get sorted then! Love the tove in rosey cheeks 😉 Thanks for the chance to win
I like the tove in slate. If I don’t win I’ll do some short pjs in some Amy Butler cotton from my stash.
I’m making my pyjamas after my final school project… On June 18th. There’s going to be some high-speed sewing there! I already have my fabric, pattern, and a pretty good idea of what I want to do…
out of that range? I’d probably have the slate solid. Don’t like any of the patterns. :/ sorry.
I will never wear pyjama bottoms, but my way of getting involved is scheduling a bathrobe class from 29 June!! I LOVE bathrobes and if it goes to plan, I’ll blog the process. we are drafting and everything, ooo er!
I’m obviously conservative because I’m planning in making a top to wear with my PJ bottoms 😉 I think Marua Denmark Day-to-night top will be perfect (and aptly named!).
I’ve got the pattern already and am in love with little kita in blueberry!
I would love to sew these pjs for my little ones! I would have to pick Glimma – Kulla in Rosey Cheeks. thankyou for making this giveaway worldwide! x
Little Kitta in Blueberry would make some nice PJs.
Oh my! They’re all gorg but I’d go for Kulla in orange nut. I love the look of the Tofinos so I’ll definitely be joining in!
I like the Marby in Jade print, it’s beautiful!
Wow, Dandelion! A colour I could never wear as a top. Great for PJ bottoms though, and with a bright, solid fabric you can go absolutely wild on the piping and belt!
I’ve got the pattern, and some beautiful vintage brushed cotton in pale blue. All those fabrics are gorgeous, especially love Marby in jade.
Little kitta in fog would make a fabulous pair of PJ’s. hopefully I will be able to join you in your sewalong x
I would love to win this pattern and the fabric because I really need some new pajama bottoms 🙂 I absolutely love the Kulla In Orange Nut fabric. It’s such a lovely buttercup colour and totally suits my colors.
Ooh what a fab giveaway! Kulla in slate with Tove in Rosey cheeks for the belt! Love this collection. Thanks heaps!
what a choice. I think I would go for Olavi in blueberry 🙂
Yeah I’d choose Glimma – Kulla in Orange Nut so cheerful. As I will have recovered from my wedding by then (which is day after tomorrow ahhhhhhhh.) dress done, just. Have literally just pressed it and hung it up ready. After that challange a nice pair of loungers is just what I need.
Ah, Tove in Rosy Cheeks for me with grey piping I think!
Having said that I have a collection of flannel / brushed cotton already earmarked for the sewalong!
Tove in rosey cheeks is such a fantastic print. I don’t have this pattern yet but I definitely need cute pj shorts for the summer!
I would use little kita in fog. Good luck everyone with your pyjamas I look forward to seeing them all finished
Oh wow, how generous! I’d love to make a pair, and I think my favourite fabric is the little kita in fog 🙂
I’m so excited! I have the pattern, I have my fabrics, my piping cord should be arriving later this week… I am in! :o) my first ever sewalong!
Ooh count me in please. I’d love the Marby in Jade, very pretty and ideal for summer 🙂 It would be great to take part in my first sew-a-long 🙂
Just yesterday I was moaning that I can never find the right pyjama trousers. Now today you have inspired me to make my own! Being a very on-off sewer this would be a tremendous challenge – and boy how I relish a challenge! I’d go for the Kulla in Orange Nut – gorgeous!
Oh no, there are far too many exclamation marks in that post. Many apologies for my over-enthusiasm.
How wonderful. I’d pick Kulla in Rosey Cheeks, but either way its going to be exciting!
Wow! You are the queen of giveaways at the moment 🙂 I would choose ‘Soba in Fog’, mostly because I find the name so evocative and can just see those soba noodles dancing around. Failing that I have some red batik print for some pj shorts and hopefully something for a sleeveless top too.
Love these fabrics!! For pyjamas I would choose the Drake in Flannel Grey. I am a complete beginner so making something that will only be seen by me and my husband is a good place to start 🙂 Thank you for organising this – looking forward to it!
Glimma – Kulla in Rosey Cheeks. such a pretty color!
Oh my, how does one even choose! All the fabrics are amazing! If really pushed I think I’d have to say Little Kita in Blueberry… : )
Kulla in Rosey Cheeks – so feminine and pretty (not sure I qualify!)
So excited! Have been thinking I need to make some pyjamas for aroun the house and this is the perfect opportunity 🙂 for the fabric, I’d go for the pretty, girly Kulla in Rosy cheeks.
Korkek in Jade
I’m pretty short and I want to go for the shorts, so I don’t need 3m probably! 😉 can not WAIT for the pyjama party!!
What a fabulous giveaway! I’d go the Olavi in Blueberry. It needs some mustard piping and it would be good to go! 😀
Little Kita in mineral dust for me! I will be making some pj’s for my daughter from my stash but I would have to have some too if I won 🙂
Ooh what a generous giveaway! I’d go for the Marby in Jade – I’d never normally choose that kind of print, but anything goes for PJs!
I’ve asked for the Tofino pattern for my birthday on the 15th, so won’t be buying it before then and really hope I get it! Either way I suspect i won’t have my PJs made in time to join the sewalaong, but I’ll do them late and pretend…
ooh I hadn’t noticed you were doing another pyjama sew-along, I’d love to take part. The PJs I made during your sewalong last year have got so much wear that it’s definitely time for some new ones! I love the pattern and I think I’d go for the Kulla in orange nut for the fabric. Thanks for the give-away!
Oh I’d love to join in the sewalong… fingers crossed the pattern comes my way!! As for the fabric, I love Little Kita in Blueberry. Thanks for the chance at winning!
Pattern sorted, couldn’t find any flannel I liked so using some cotton I got in NYC. However the fabric in the limit is lovely – I managed to narrow my favourite down to 3! Drake in Slate – my nursery children would love the sound if that 🙂 Tove in Dandelion – to match my lawn and Kulla in Slate – just because.
This is my first sew-a-long – thank you for hosting Karen
OMG! What a generous giveaway! I’ve been browsing through the fabrics and I just wouldn’t know which one to choose. They are all gorgeous! I’m keen on geometric prints and I loathe flowers, so this collection is definitely made for me.
I’d probably choose Olavi in Blueberry because it’d be so cute for pyjamas. Just saying.
Another great giveaway… Thanks. I’m rather obsessed with burnt orange at the moment, so Kulla in Orange Nut would be my fabric of choice.
Hmm, I think the Marby in Jade is my favourite. Such a lovely colour. I’m off fabric shopping this week so hopefully should find something yummy in case I don’t win! I’ve got at least 2 loungewear patterns lurking in the stash that have never been used too, so I should be able to find a pattern easily enough!
Oh I love the Glimma – Little Kita in Blueberry. Village Haberdashery is a great shop. Thanks for another great giveaway.
I would love to join in the pyjama party. I love the Korkek in Dandelion with the Tove in Dandelion for the belt.
I wasn’t sure about joining in as pyjamas seem to need so much fabric, so I had put the idea onto my to do list, but what a giveaway! I love Little Kita in Mineral Dust the most. I think I am going through a grey phase! Fingers crossed.
Love the Kulla in Rosey Cheeks.Haven’t gotten around to ordering the pattern yet, oops!
This is very exciting. I am a very new sewist and have so far not made any clothing. I think pyjama bottoms woud be a good first project (probably without piping). I love the little kita in fog.
Little Kita in Blueberry. It’s blueberry season here. Perfect breakfast match w/ blueberry pjs and blueberries on my cereal! Love your blog!
Cool! I desperately need new pyjamas and would love a pair in Olavi in Blueberry – I love a masculine-yet-feminine pyjama pant – I would use a rasberry belt & piping. Thanks!
Ooh, I love Little Kita in Blueberry. I think it would make a really fun pair of pyjama bottoms!
Oooh, this is just the shove up the backside I need to get involved! All of the Glimma fabrics are gorgeous but I think I would choose Kulla in Slate – gorgeous! x
I would love to win the pattern! I’m still an absolute beginner, so I’m a bit unsure about making pants. I ordered some other sewaholic patterns to start with. If they become a succes I might jump in for the pants. As I’m tall it would be so nice to have floor skimming pj pants, instead of a store bought pair that swims above my ankles. I love Little Kita in Fog.
messed up last years pj’s so would love to join in this year! Marby in Jade would be my fabric choice, it’s lovely. Thanks for the give-away
Oh, I’d love the Glimma Korkek in Jade, I’ve been wanting that ever since I first saw it! Would be such fun for pyjamas!
I love some of those patterns! I’d go for the Marby in Jade one. Thanks!
Yay, count me in, can’t wait! So far, I have some butterfly jersey ready and am winging it a bit with a self drafted pattern but I’ve never made PJs before so fingers crossed!
As for the giveaway, I’d have to choose Drake in Flannel Grey (I think!)
Would love pjs in Kulla orange nut 🙂 – great giveaway !
I love Lotta! And I love her Soba in Tangerine. Can’t wait to join your pyjama party for a second time 🙂
what a gorgeous fabric range – i hadn’t seen that! either kove or kulla in slate for me!
They’re all so beautiful! My favourite is the Marby in Jade though. Stunning!
Eleanor
I have drafted a pattern and taken delivery of fabric.
I’d still like to enter the giveaway though (I have neglected to replace worn out nightwear for years!). I struggled to choose (three of the Glimma fabrics are on my wishlist at the moment) but if forced I’d go for Korkek in Dandelion.
Good luck everyone with both the giveaway and pyjama sewing!
Fabulous giveaway. I love the Glimma – Kulla in Orange Nut with a white Sorbetto top with the Kulla bias binding. I’ve only recently discovered your blog and its entertaining these wintry nights in Oz!
What beautiful fabrics, I love the Kulla in slate … Would be gorgeous in pj trousers with a bright coloured piping… Mmmm lovely! Thanks
Love the pattern and the Tove in Dandelion fabric from the Village Haberdashery. Thanks for the giveaway!
How exciting! All those fabrics are totes adorbs…I’d go for the kulla in slate…perfect for lazy days lounging about! That pattern is lush!
Kulla in rosey cheeks for me, such an appropriate name for PJs.
Got the pattern. but still shopping for fabric! If i am lucky I would take the Climma Tove in Dandelion!!! it has a very promising print! Depending on time I will be brave and try the piping, but at this point I am unsure.
kulla in orange but jeez they are all lovely fabrics! would love to win the pattern and fabric. fingers crossed@
lore
Oh these fabrics are beautiful! I’d want the glimma marby in jade – to match the doona cover I made =] Thank you for having such a wonderful blog!
Hearing lots of good buzz about the Tofino pj pattern & I’m loving “kulla in orange nutt”. Many thanks for the comp.
Ooooo definitely little kita in blueberry – I love that fabric! Pick me!
Hi – I absolutely love marby in jade for pyjamas – thamk you for the opportunity – looking forward to trying this out!
Little Kita in blueberry for me too! So pretty.
I bought a whole stack of printed flannels a couple of years ago to make pyjama bottoms with. I made one pair that didn’t really fit and gave up. So this is my motivation to get out that stack and get on with the rest! I might even unpick the pair I did make and redo them…
What a lovely giveaway, thank you so much. The whole fabric range is gorgeous, but I think I’d go for the Kulla in Slate. I can see that with some very pink piping & belt (in my head – not sure I’d actually manage to make anything even vaguely pyjama-looking out of it … but I’d give it my utmost). All the best & happy pj sewing to everyone!
Tove in Rosey Cheeks for me please. The whole range is lovely. I’ve just made a couple of pj’s. It’s winter here but I desperately need some cotton ones for summer so this will get me sorted before I need to wear them.
I love the Glimma – Marby in Flannel Grey fabric …
Thanks so much for doing the giveaway …
Pingback: Pyjama Party – I’m Joining Again | sewmuchchoice
Oh I would love either the pattern or the fabric. The fabrics are all lovely.
I’m very tempted to join my first sewalong
Pajamas are one of my favorite things to make, and I love all my Sewaholic patterns, so I will definitely be making these someday. I love the Kulla print in orange nut.
Marby in Jade would be my choice though it was hard to make! Thanks to all of you wonderful ladies for this very generous giveaway!
This sounds like so much fun! I really want to join in, I don’t know if I”ll be able to find the time, but I definitely need to pajama pants and these are perfect. I really like the Glimma – Kulla in Rosey Cheeks fabric for this pattern. Thanks for having the sewalong and the giveaway!
I love the Tove in Rosey Cheeks…but was a hard decision! I need some new cute Jammies!
Hmmm im thinking Kulla in orange nut, a long overdue departure from my usual black and grey uniform day and night. That’ll give the hubby a fright!! Cant wait to begin x
I already have some AMH voile I bought a month ago in the hopes there would be another pajama party this year! But if I won the giveaway, I would choose the Tove print in Rosy Cheeks – so pretty!
Oh what a great giveaway and gorgeous fabrics! I’m tempted by the sophistication of the greys but I think I would probably go for Little Kita in blueberry. Yay for another pj party!
I just agreed to buy no new patterns and then the Tofino came out!
I’d love to win this.
I’d probably chose the orange Kulla print.
Thank you for the generous giveaway!!
Would so love to win having recently bought a sewing machine and re-discovered sewing. I would choose the Glimma – Tove in Dandelion which looks sunny and light! Thanks for the chance!
I’m very new to sewing but I’d love to have a go. I’d choose “Kulla in slate”. Looking forward to reading your tutorials!
I love little kita in blueberry! I’m excited to make some new pj pants for summer!
Little Kita in Blueberry would make some pretty great PJs, especially with piping a contrasting color. Thanks for the giveaway!
Kulla in Rosy Cheeks would make gorgeous pyjama pants! This is a very kind and generous giveaway! Thanks Karen and the Village Haberdashery!
So excited to get started on my first pair of jimmy jammy bottoms. I love the Glimma – Kulla in Orange Nut fabric and am ready to “feel the fear” and get stuck in by adding contrasting slate grey piping.
Wow, what a generous giveaway! I would love to win, I haven’t been able to justify buyin the Tofino pattern as I already have a PJ pants pattern that works well…the fabric is gorgeous, I think I would choose the “Tove in Rosey Cheeks”.
Little Kita in Blueberry – definitely. Thanks for the link to Village Haberdashery! I hadn’t been to their site before. They have great looking fabrics!
Karen, you are so delightful! Thank you to all who are so generous with this give-a-way. I like the little kita in mineral dust.
I’d have to pick Soba in fog. I’d love to join in on the fun this year!
I love the Tove in Rosy Cheeks, very cute!
I’m in – my first Sewalong (yay)! I’d opt for the Little Kita in Blueberry. The other colors are too muted for jammies for me, although they are lovely.
oooh! I’d go for the Tove in Rosey Cheeks please if I won! x
Marty in jade please! I have a lovely piratical print to make my son some pj bottoms, but you can never have too may yourself.
That should be marby obviously. Stupid autocorrect …
Love the Kulle in any colorway!
I’d go for the Marby in mineral dust, and add some brightly coloured piping as a contrast. Cheers for the give away!
Oh…I love Tove in Rosey Cheeks. Looks like such a fun sew along.
I,d love little kita in blueberry…I really love that collection. Thanks for your give away..and love your blog
I really like the Glimma – Kulla in Orange Nut fabric.
I like the kulla pattern in the soft rose colour – very pretty. This will be my second attempt at sewing so I’m very excited! Thanks.
Swooon. What pretty fabric!
Love your belt fabric, very cool! I have my pattern at the ready, however I won’t be able to join the sew-along until the 17th. Hopefully you won’t all have finished by then!
Thanks for the giveway, I loved the fabric Little Kita in Blueberry
So many beautiful patterns! My favorite though has to be Little Kita in Bluberry.
I think I love all of them! If I HAD to pick I’d say Soba in Fog because I love love love fog. And pjs.
What a wonderful and generous give away
I’m hoping to join in the PJ party…but it’s dependent on my Husband having grouted the tiles in the dinning room so that I can rescue my sewing machine (and the rest of the dinning room furniture) from the bathroom where it is currently hiding from the DIY…
Oh yes, sorry almost forgot, if I was forced to choose from all those lovely fabrics then I think it would be Solids in Slate Grey…and then go wild with the piping…
Thank you for organising this
I’d pick the little kita in blueberry. Cute and unique! If I don’t win I’m gonna use something from my stash.
I was going to get the Tofino pattern but then Jo-Anns was having a pattern sale so I scooped up a different PJ pattern instead. Can’t wait for the party 🙂
Oh – Little Kita in mineral dust, hands down …. how splendid a pair of PJ’s would they be?!!!
I love the Marby in flannel gray – it would be great to accent with purple trim and tie and a purple tee on top.
I’m so excited for this pajama party! It would be Marby in Jade for me!
I’d choose the Marby in Jade, it’s beautiful and reminds me of Hawaii. I love love love the pattern! Thanks for the generous give away! If I don’t win the fabric, I have some light weight knit in a fun circles print in very bright bold colors. This sew along is perfect timing!
Love the Kulla in slate fabric, would make a great pair of pjs! I live on Vancouver Island, about a four-hour drive from Tofino – here’s a pic of nearby Long Beach for sewing inspiration: “Tofino Rush Hour” http://ow.ly/lEYTW
I think that the Tove in Rosey Cheeks woud be a little too twee for me to wear during the day but perfect for tucking into bed- so sweet for sweet dreams!
Awesome! I love the little kita in mineral dust.
I just love the Korkek in Dandelion, really different from anything else I have sewn with. Just a beautiful color. And I LOVE the sewaholic patterns and need to have a copy of the Tofino Pattern. Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome set.
I need summer PJ pants. I have decided that I can’t buy them. I really kind of need to get going, no? I’d choose Kulla in Rosey Cheeks. Seems appropriate.
Oo I’ve been wanting to make pyjamas for ages – I’d love the kulla in orange nut. Thanks for hosting such a fun sewalong x
I hope to be “in” with a new pattern and some funky fabric. I like Kulla in Slate – love those trees. Thanks for doing this world wide – hope I win!
And to any Home Economics teachers out there (I am one) I think the Sewaholic pattern would be the ideal “first” garment for students. I’ll be buying it in the fall for my new crop of Fashion Studies students.
Hmmm… I think it’s about time I get some new pajama bottoms so this giveaway couldn’t come at a better time. My favourite is Little Kita in blueberry.
Thank you for doing the giveaway and pyjama party.
Glimma was a wonderful collection, but I liked Kulla in Rosey Cheeks the best.
Who can resist fabric called Kulla in Orange Nut?
Hi Karen and thanks for this! I would actually choose the Glimma – Marby in Jade fabric because it’s simply great! I’m looking forward to sewing along!
Thanks so much for offering this giveaway, that is wonderful! I am having a hard time deciding between Marby in Jade and Tove in Dandelion. I am leaning toward the Dandelion because that is not normally a color I can wear. But in pj’s… why not? I think it would look great with a contrast piping in Jade. Looking forward to the sewalong.
I think I have to go for ‘Tove in Rosey Cheeks’, just lovely. I only recently sewed my first pair of pyjama bottoms (can’t think why I never did before now) and am looking forward to attempt number 2!
I really like that line of fabric, thank you for pointing it out! I really like the Kulla in Orange Nut, I think it will make some cheery pj’s, a great addition to my pj wardrobe as most of it is kind of dull.. So if I don’t win I think I will just get me some:)
Its got to be Kulla in Slate – very classy! Thanks 🙂
The kulla in slate looks good!
Definitely, Kulla in orange nut! Who doesn’t like daffodils? 🙂 In these pjs I will be dreaming about fields of daffodils! Thank you!
Tough decision, but I think I would go for Drake in Flannel Grey. My current PJs have definitely seen better days.
ooohhh such gorgeous fabric. I would pick marby in flannel grey. Must get organised!
Last year I managed to get three pairs of pyjama bottoms done for my children and niece. I didn’t get as far as making the matching ones for myself and my sister. I would use the Tove in Dandelion with yellow piping and grey waist band…. I think I have waited long enough for my own bottoms 🙂
Lovely fabric – I would choose Tove in Rosey Cheeks I think.
Tracy
Oh how I desperately want to join in the sewalong but am really trying to stick to a budget… Damn this new sewing obsession. I thought it would stop me shopping!
I would love the Tove in Dandelion as the main fabric with the Korkek in Dandelion for the side panels. Then I’ll have to make a top to match in a neutral colour. Oh and then a kimono dressing gown with all three fabrics!
I might be new, but I’m ambitious! 😀 xx
Pingback: Five Crafty Things I Have Made for My Son | flossie jamieson
Wow, I would love to join the sew a long! As far as the fabrics go, all of them are lovely, but I would choose the Glimma little kita in blueberry..
Fingers crossed!
Wow, all those fabrics look awesome. I’m torn between the Little Kita in Fog or in Blueberry…
I really like the little kita in any of the colours!
Wow, what a fabulous giveaway! I am also so IN for the pajama party. This Tofino pattern is so lovely and I think I am leaning towards Little Kita in Fog. The name is so cute, I just want to squeeze it’s cheeks!! 🙂
Pick me! Pick me! I won’t be able to participate otherwise, and that would be a tragedy of epic proportions. I’d choose the Marby in jade or the Soba in fog — and I’m thinking that should be the name of my imaginary band’s next album…
I am in for the PJ party! I’m very excited.
Marby in Jade is gorgeous! Thanks for an awesome giveaway 🙂
Love all the fabrics, but it would have to beGlimmer trove is roses cheeks!!
I´m also in for the Pyjama Party. Did not yet had the time to publish my post (normaly I only write in German) but I will defently be part of this amazing pj party.
Greetings from Germany, Muriel
Little Kita in fog is my favourite, but so difficult to choose as I like several.
I have never made properly fitting jim-jams, only the baggy & uncomfortable sort that ended up as dusters!
This will also be the first time I’ve tackled piping and I’ve never done a sew-a-long either! I’m looking forward to having direction from afar. Several firsts for me which is motivating. I shall be rushing home from work to keep up with everyone.
Thanks for hosting the party.
Kulla in orange nut, I would easy to spot in the dark. Lovely fabric x
Funnily enough I already had a pair of pjs in my to do list. I love the marby in jade, that would make adorable pjs with some contrast piping, maybe in pink. Regardless I’ll be sewing along. I’ve been thinking about rayon challis to make drapey, soft pjs for summer.
I would love to make Olavi in Blueberry pyjamas.
Gorgeous fabrics. I think Little Kita in Fog teamed with a dusky pink vest top and ribbon belt would be very cute. I have a bit of a jimjam obsession and need some new ones. Got to be home made!
I have some Liberty tana lawn perfect for this! So excited!
Wow, so hard to choose. Kulla in Orange Nut is delicious !
Love the Little kitta in fog.Think I will try the piping even though I’m fairly new to sewing .After all your work on the tutorial seems a shame not to test it out.
Thanks Jacqui
Great giveaway – I love Tove in Rosey Cheeks
I’m such a fan of your blog. I love the idea of a pyjama party sewalong. Count me in! I’m think the Glimma- Tove in Dandelion is so cute and I would really like to make my first sewalong garment out of it. X
OK, if you think I can do it, I’m in! Especially with a pattern or the gorgeous Kulla in Rosey Cheeks. Thanks for the give away opportunity.
I don’t usually wear pj’s but I’m going to be spending a few weeks post-op in loose clothing later this summer so I had best sew some up.
Thank you for hosting this giveaway -I would love to enter!
Once again throw my name in the virtual hat! You do so many giveaways, such a generous girl you are. That sounded vaguely like Yoda, Oops.
PS-I have actually been to Tofino, so I should win. Right?
I was so excited I didn’t read all the way through-I would pick Marby in Jade.
ROSEY CHEEKS for me because I love the name!
This is so awesome! I would get Kulla in Orange Nut. I don’t usually wear orange, but I feel like you can go a little wild with pyjamas.
In love with Soba in Tangerine! I do have some flannel for some winter PJ’s but need some gorgeous cotton for summer.
I love pajamas. I would use little kita in blueberry.
I am so ready!!!! I will be making a different pattern but I might tweak it a bit and add piping, but I don’t know. I’ll blog it soon.
Gorgeous fabrics!!
I would choose Tove in Dandelion with dandelion piping! Yes!
Two giveaways in one week – so generous and kind! ^__^
I love the Little Kita in Fog.
Tofino is a magical lovely place and not toooo far from me so I’m hoping to get a chance to perhaps wear them there one day.
Ohh, I’ve never done a sew along before and this one looks fun but simple enough even I should be able to follow along. Ha! What a generous giveaway! I think I would also go with Marby in Jade. So pretty!
Oh, how exciting! I would most definitely choose Tove in Rosey Cheeks ~ how perfect with pale pink piping! Thankyou for the opportunity x
I love the fabrics especially Tove in Rosey Cheeks. Can’t wait to start….
Drake in slate. How could you go past something that combines Japanese and Scandinavian design? And that grey colour is perfect to go with all the mustard yellow I own!
Difficult choice but I’d choose little kita in blueberry. So fresh and pretty!
The fabric would either be Tove in Dandelion or Soba in Fog …
Hmm I love the idea of wearing Fog so Soba in Fog it is. Also could dosome great contrast piping and an over the top tie.
WoW!!! Glimma – Kulla in Orange Nut as I adore it and I did just steal some vintage bike flannelette to make these up from the little mans stash, and orange is his fav colour, so maybe we could share – or he might get a contrast side…(again)…. bad mummy…
Is it OK to enter the giveaway even if the pattern and fabric won’t be used for the party but will be made later on? If so I want to make the Tofino pants in Tove in Dandelion.
your dragon fabric is too cool for words 😀 . i am so going to participate as i want to make cute pjs for my dd but i wanted to order tofino after your last post leading up to the pyj party and the shipping was stupid expensive so i haev decided to use a different pattern. i looked for some cute fabric the other day but didnt find any. going to hit my 2nd local fabric store this week. happy sewing all 😀
loving that dragon fabric, what fun!
and you are right, the glimma range is gorgeous! I (think) I like the little ki
apologies for the half comment, not sure what happened there … as I was saying – I love the little kita in mineral dust best, but also like the tova in dandelion a lot too!!
I will be making mine out of some flannel that has the breast cancer ribbons and hearts on them. My mom is just getting over treatment with breast cancer in her second breast. I made pj’s for my daughters and nieces at Christmas time in honor of Grandma. They were a big hit. Now it is time to make me a pair. Looking so forward to this.
Great idea for a party! I think Tove in Rosey Cheeks would be the perfect choice for me! Mood calming mauve!
What a great idea, thanks for organising this party – can’t wait and would love to win Little Kita in Blueberry or the fantastic pattern.
Kulla in Orange Nut for me. Live in pj’s when at home. Can never have enough xx
How on earth to choose? What a GORGEOUS line of fabric! Kulla in Slate or Korkek in Jade…..
ohh..hard to choose! Would have to be Glimma – Kulla in Rosey Cheeks for some girly pink PJ’s.
Looking forward to the party. Fabric-wise I’d choose Kulla in Orange Nut. I say that you just can’t have enough bright orange nuts in one’s life.
They’re some really nice fabrics, it was hard to choose my favourite! I liked the Little Kita in Fog, it reminded me of lots of pegs on a washing line. Looking forward to seeing the PJ’s that everyone makes!

I like the Tove in Rosey Cheeks! looking forward for the pyjama party!
I’d have to choose Kulla in Slate. Such an awesome grey, I love it.
My pajama drawer is so stuffed full I can barely close it but somehow I think I can justify just one more pair…
Abbe
Wow what a great way to start a sew a long! This would be a very helpful start to my long list of p.j.s that need to be made for the warmer weather.
Ooh, I think the Marby in Flannel Grey would be great for PJs!
Yay! Giveaway! Thanks 🙂 I’ve been wanting to join in with the pyjama party but haven’t had time to find any suitable fabric yet. So I would just love to win some! Hard to choose which though… I like the kulla design – but which colour? (Ha… kulla… colour… sorry!) – I think in the end it would have to be in slate.
I’m not usually a pink kinda gal but that Kulla in Rosey Cheeks is to die for! Tova in Dandelion wouldn’t be bad either!
I would go Korkek in Jade. Subtle but lovely!
better get my act together! not sorted a pattern yet, I hadn’t thought of jersey. I got some pretty jersey from Birmingham Rag Market last year, might use that.
I would choose Kulla in Slate. Thanks for the giveaway!
Korkek Jade or Dandelion – still undecided. I want to join into this pj fun this year!
I need to win, I am all behind! I don’t have pattern or fabric! I would love to make my pj’s in Tove, dandelion …. Please!
Oh my! What have you done to me? I’m loving Kulla in Rosey Cheeks. I’m planning on pjs of some sort. I just haven’t decided what kind yet…
PS. Your dragon fabric is SO COOL!
Great giveaway!! I’d love the Kulla in Rosey Cheeks if I were to win.
Well boooooo. I really want to join in this ‘along but I’m a bit skinny this month when it comes to pattern/fabric purchases. Unlessssss I WIN THIS GIVEAWAY. Magic number generator, pick me pick meee! I’d get the Marby in Jade, of course 🙂
I spend so much time making fancy dresses, so this would be excellent motivation to make something extremely practical! My fabric pick would be Tove in Rosey Cheeks – it is adorable.
Ooo Marby in jade if I’m lucky enough!
Oh i’d love the Kulla in Orange Nut, want to make them for my daughter as surprise pressie.
Great giveaway!
I love the Glimma – Drake in Flannel Grey, it’s lovely. As is the pattern. I’ve never made pj trousers, just some shorts that are still waiting for me to attach the bias binding. That said I’d be up for making these! Look forward to seeing everyone’s projects!
Party time! Very very hard to choose but I think I’d go for Glimma – Kulla in Rosey Cheeks. I might even be brave and try to do the piping… thanks for hosting and doing the giveaway 🙂
Love Glimma – Olavi in Rosey Cheeks. I think the colour would match my bedroom curtains.
I love the Tove in Rosey Cheeks. I like the Scandinavian influence and it’s nice and summery.
Thanks for the giveaway, I’ve got stash fabric in mind if I don’t win!
I would choose Kulla in Slate. I just love the trees! I’ve been thinking about getting the Tofino pattern, not only for making PJ pants, but also lightweight rain pants in a silnylon. 🙂
I’d love to be entered for either giveaway, but do have a pattern readily available, so I guess I would prefer the fabric giveaway!
What a lovely fabric choices…if I’m forced to pick just one, it would be Glimma – Kulla in Rosey Cheeks.
If I don’t win the giveaway, I have left over pawprint fleece from when I made a bed cover for my dog 🙂
It would have to be Kulla in Rosey Cheeks – beautiful!
My mother bought me a sewing machine for my birthday (I’m a grown woman with a child, I swear) and I’m looking to put it through its paces. The marby in jade would make some very cute pajamas 🙂
I’m excited for my first sewalong! I’d love the olavi in rosey cheeks 🙂
Wow the fabric is beautiful – for me it would have to be Little Kita in Blueberry. For some reason I’m always drawn to dark blue fabrics. Wouldn’t it look great with a light pink PJ top?
Oh you lifesaver! I was slack so fingers crossed you can be my fairy godmother…. I would totally go for the Tove in Dandelion, and a spot of Solids in Dandelion to add some detail!
As a relative new sewist I’ve never taken part in a sewalong before but tempted to with this one. Think I should be able to manage pj bottoms & I have a pattern. The marby in flannel grey would make great pj bottoms.
I like the Little Kita in Blueberry and Marby in flannel Gray is second choice. At first glance they were all outside of my comfort zone, but Pjs is a good place to stretch!
Great giveaway. I like Kulla in Rosey Cheeks, just my colour!
hmmm, either Little Kita in Blueberry or Kulla in Orange Nut I think, I do love blue and orange together so maybe one for the main and the other for the belt! I think I’ll be leaving out he piping too (or could cowboy style fringe down the legs be a good sub.?!)
I have a lavender polka dot fabric set aside for pyjama bottoms and when I read about this year’s pyjama party I ordered the Tofino pattern ( and the Alma and the Renfrew). Twelve days later the wretched post has still not delivered, and I fear is now unlikely to… So having a chance to win a replacement is always worth a try, especially when there’s fabric to go with it! I would choose the Little Kita in blueberry and do neon pink or orange piping.
Thanks for another great giveaway! I’d choose Kulla in slate 🙂
Little Kita in blueberry 🙂 my first sew along I’m so excited!!!
What interesting fabrics. I’d be beyond happy if I won some Little Kita in either Blueberry or Mineral Dust. Thanks so much for this giveaway.
I love the Little Kita in Blueberry 🙂 My fingers are crossed big time for this one!
I’m in for the PJ party, as soon as I’m back from my hols. I’d love to win the Marby in Jade fabric. If I don’t win, I’ll be making McCalls 3370. I’m making a top in plain cotton jersey and bottoms in tartan. Very fetching on the campsites this summer!
Quite frankly I could live in pjs and would love a pair in little kita in blueberry. As a novice sewer I think the pattern would be more forgiving! Thank you for the giveaway.
Ooh, a giveaway! Thank you! My fingers are crossed too… I decided not to take part in view of the fact that I’m a total apple shape rather than a pear, but I’ve reconsidered after your post! Yaayaaay! Kulla in slate would be lovely…
Little kits in blueberry would be my choice. Am also going to check the jerseys from stone fabrics foe the pjs as I have other fabric I want to order from them for a dress

I’m very tempted to join in! i haven’t sewn anything for ages. The fabrics are all beautiful.
Oooh this looks fun… I have been putting off sewing some PJs as my first proper pattern for a while… so maybe I will join in, too!
