Sewlutions Winner!

GiveawayThe Mistress of the Jar had a most … interesting … time going through people’s Sewlutions. She does so enjoy it when people try to impress. There was the stunningly simple white leather bag, a gorgeous child’s Spring coat – though the Mistress did choke slightly on the cuteness. There was even a starry bra!

But there can only be one winner, and on this occasion it was a no brainer. When the Mistress of the Jar saw this sewing project, her face turned most peculiar. The corners of her mouth began to curl up, she felt her cheeks tightening and – the strangest sensation of all! – a bubble of delight rose in her chest. (The Mistress hasn’t felt delight since 1974 and that encounter with the waiter.) Yes, readers. This Sewist made the Mistress smile even more than a man who needs tipping. Scruffy Badger wasn’t even asking for 10 per cent! Check out what she made on New Year’s Eve:

Congratulations to Scruffy Badger, a well-deserving winner.

  2. Oh wonderful Mistress of the Jar, what a wise and witty choice you have made! But of course, you are perfection, my Mistress, and I am but a lowly minion. If it please you, my Mistress, will you be taking Sewlutions this year?

If anyone can put The Mistress in her place it’s Winnie, fantastic!

  4. I’m aghast!! Then all squealy with delight!! Please thank the mistress sincerely on my behalf. Looks like the pic with the 99 and knotted handkerchief is owed ( in warmer climes of course!)

Winnie does deserve the price : braving the cold and the rain, for modelling her lovely smimming suit. Paying attention to details such as using a matching umbrella…She’s the best !
Thanks Karen for hosting the Sewlutions. It has been fun ! You are so good at creating sinergy !

Hurray! The win could not have been given to a more deserving person. The pink wig in the photo alone should have justified your choice.
