Look what my colleague made! I yelped when I saw this knitted fox. It’s from the Rowan Cute Little Knits book. It IS very cute and the wool is super-lovely and soft. This fox is meant to be a draught excluder, to which I cry NO! Quite clearly, it is a companion to cuddle on the sofa. It’s also a great way of dipping your toe into Fair isle knitting – check out the graduating colour detail on the fox’s bushy tail!
I may have to buy this book. I’m very tempted by the Lovebirds Cushion.
With thanks to Becca, for enduring the yelps.
Now rarely do I use the language of the youth…but O…M…G! I WANT IT!!!!!!! I’m not surprised you were yelping, would pretty much have been my reaction too.
Yelping too.
OH! That’s so cute! As someone who is seriously considering getting a fox tattooed on her at some point I can only say WANT!
Looks like Mr Fox enjoys a read of ‘Frankie’s Magic Football’!
OK, now I need to learn to knit!
Can you tell me what a draught excluder is? Is this a publishing term or British phrase?
If you’re from the U.S. they would be known as draft dodgers. Those things you put under your door so you don’t get drafts in your house in the winter.
This is soooo cute!
I love foxes. That is just too cute!
Oh that is really cute. Even as an adult I love it!
Oh, so lovely, I often see foxex on the roads at night and love them, though I don’t think the farmer’s wife does, when they are after her chickens.
Wow, this is so sweet! What a great gift!
Omg so cute! 😀
ADORABLE! So adorable! My daughter was looking over my shoulder while I was reading this post and her heart is full of Fantastic Mr. Fox love!
My husband requested one and suggested he be filled with lavender. Off to amazon I go. (Perfect project for three weeks with my mum)
That’s the sweetest (non) draught excluder I’ve ever seen!
I’m glad you like Fantastic Fox! You can see other designs from Cute Little Knits on my website
