What wonderful uses you’ve made of this wonderful fabric! And it appears the sewing mojo is back round your place in full force — yeah! 🎉

    Those are some substantial garments!

I was really proud last winter when I made a cropped sweater, two pairs of mittens and a hat out of a metre of knit fabric. The mittens were the real scrap busters in this story!

  3. A few years ago I bought 3 metres of a jersey/sweatshirt, that was 2 metres wide. I got a skater dress, a pair of Hudson pants, 2 different style tops and pockets on a dress out of it. I have some scraps which will do for pockets or baby clothes for extended family. The fabric was on the remnant pile and I think I got it for about £8 — huge bargain!

  4. A friend gave me some beautiful wool coating in a vibrant kelly green and I’ve made a peacoat, a color-blocked full length coat, a coordinating color-blocked skirt, and I still have a bit left. The gift that keeps on giving 🙂 your silk is lovely.

Brava! I made a bomber jacket and a vest from the two meters of Missoni fabric I bought in Rome. It was my first use of princess seams in the vest because I didn’t have single pieces large enough. Great job!

Great question! The most I’ve gotten was 3 garments, from 3 yards of rayon/linen…two of those were crop tops though, ha!
